The Communication work consists of two separate wooden sculptures. Both sculptures have embedded speakers that provide vague speech, heartbeat, and intestinal sounds.  

While doing this work, I was interested in trying to combine sound with wood carvings. How do sounds change the nature of sculptures? What do they add to the works?
